Replacing a cracked facelift Polo Fog lens/light

Post by Exigo »

So after a recent trip to Rustenburg (some great pieces of road for the TDI I must add), and driving behind all those lovely trucks and resulting stones on the N4, I noticed this morning while cleaning the TDI that the front left fog light lens was thoroughly cracked by a stone, just my luck.

For anyone who's had experience messing around with the fogs, is the lens a seperate piece that one can replace (probably wishful thinking) or is the whole thing gonna have to come out, and most importantly, any ideas on how much it's going to cost...

Thanks guys - I'm presuming that's the VW price then? How big a job is it to get to the light and replace it?

The grill should clip out from the front & the spot is secured with three screws to the bumper.
