Removing polish from plastic/rubber

How do you remove the white polish residue from plastic or rubber parts?

Wash it and scrub it with soap water then hose it off with a high pressure washer.

O and another tip is to wash your car directly after the polish. The polish comes off very easy because it is still soft.

The easiest way to removed dried polish from trim is with a normal pencil eraser , works wonders! Try it before using any other chemicals

Using meths or solvents on rubber is not recommended as it will make it brittle and will cause premature cracking and fading.

Interesting, if it weren't so late now I'd go and try it right now.

Does the eraser work well even on textured plastics?

This definitely works a treat. Use a decent sized eraser for better grip etc. "Erase" the polish/wax off the trim, and then go over with a bit of APC to remove any residue.

MhVW, have you given this a try yet ?
