Re: Removing polish from plastic/rubber
Wash it and scrub it with soap water then hose it off with a high pressure washer.

Re: Removing polish from plastic/rubber
O and another tip is to wash your car directly after the polish. The polish comes off very easy because it is still soft.

Removing polish from plastic/rubber
The easiest way to removed dried polish from trim is with a normal pencil eraser , works wonders! Try it before using any other chemicals

Removing polish from plastic/rubber
Using meths or solvents on rubber is not recommended as it will make it brittle and will cause premature cracking and fading.Gansnek wrote:Methylated spirits.

Interesting, if it weren't so late now I'd go and try it right now.xion wrote:The easiest way to removed dried polish from trim is with a normal pencil eraser , works wonders! Try it before using any other chemicals
Does the eraser work well even on textured plastics?

Re: Removing polish from plastic/rubber
This definitely works a treat. Use a decent sized eraser for better grip etc. "Erase" the polish/wax off the trim, and then go over with a bit of APC to remove any residue.MhVW wrote:Interesting, if it weren't so late now I'd go and try it right now.xion wrote:The easiest way to removed dried polish from trim is with a normal pencil eraser , works wonders!
