Post by Hotdubz »

i hit a curb with the front left corner of my car a few weeks back and all of the windscreen washer water came out. not sure if the bottle broke or if a pipe or something came out.

how do i get to the washer bottle? wanna check what i need to replace. what tools are needed?

You need to take the whole bumper off to get access to the bottle AFAIK.

Mastercraft FTW! With the exception of a few extra's here and there, I've never regretted getting the big toolbox I have.
I'll bring my Haynes Manual to work tomorrow and scan in the pages for bumper removal. Will either put them up in the thread or mail them to you.

It doesn't look too hard tbh.

I was looking at fitting sprays onto the intercooler and redirecting the water from the washer bottle to the SMIC.

Yes, you can see the necessary. If you need to view and access from the front you can remove left front foglight grill.

Yes, torx head will be necessary. I have the cheap 'made in china' ones that have worked fine for years.
