PD130 injectors are around R7k - R9k a piece from what I remember, so not cheap at all  Most guys looking for extra fueling on PD's go for LPG injection, while the older VE engines you could get larger nozzles and an uprated fuel pump, but not sure if this would work on the PD's...

Cheers
Nic

LPG - Liquid Petroleum Gas
IIRC - If I remember correctly

You could also use NOS or Water/Meth...

Thanks Nic  .
Im interested by the Water/Meth kit but i think i'll do it as a last mod. Right now i'll try and find out whether i can source the injectors from overseas because it seems like they are a lot cheaper there. I REALLY want to hit the 140kw mark, even if i have to spend the next ten years at it

Everything about the TDIs is ridiculously expensive.
Turbo replacement at agents: R23000
Catalytic convertor at agents: R15000 odd...

Yep, ridiculous, but luckily most parts are interchangeable between the models  As far as I know, the PD injectors are fairly similar if not exactly the same between the smaller PD engines...

sssh, we need to start a similar legend for PD160 injectors to what exists for VR6 injectors.
Then I can part my car out for more than it's worth in one piece

Yes, they added a bit on the top of them as using the 2.6l ones would mean a displacement of 23.87l...

Funny MOFOS! Would morne know the max BHP a pd100 injector can handle? 200-220 is what I heard 130 injectors can handle before they're maxed!

Sinbad mentioned something about my dutycycle when reviewing my logs and thinks that refers to injectors.

Hence there is no need to upgrade the turbo because the injectors wont be able to fuel the requested volume with upped boost and fueling.

Yeah but that's the whole point of getting PD 130 injectors  . Providing for the upped boost level and fueling.

I am still not entirely convinced there is that much difference between the PD injectors on the smaller 4 pot engines, but I'll do some research...
