Get a ride in a race car - At gti spectacular

Hi All,

In my press release for GTi Spectacular (25th Aug), I made mention that a lucky few will be able to get 2 full speed laps strapped into the passenger seat of a GTi Challenge car.

We will be allocating 10 experienced Drivers to take you on the ride of your life. This is not a regular occurence, because it is very hard on the car, but the reason we are doing it, is to raise some funds for our trip to Port Elizabeth in October. We will be competing on invitation in a national meeting there, with VW watching us very closely. So every aspiring Challenge driver, needs all the help they can get to make the trip.

We will be charging R50 for 2 flying laps and there will be other challenge cars on the circuit as well, so it will be very exciting. I need to get an idea, how many people are keen on this idea and don't mind paying the R50 (normally about R50 per lap), or we won't waste time running this part of the event.

Well , I cannot think of a better way to learn the lines at Killarney , so yes , count me in .

you can *drive* your car , be carefull on the brakes though , I nearly slid out once on the bend where the 600m starts *grin*

Guys/girls, please give me your full names, or email me directly if you are interested. The list is filling up and I don't want to dissappoint annyone.

Be at the track at around 9:30am - 10am. Watch the challenge race at around 11am and then after our weigh in, we will return to the pits to pick you up.

Angie will be at Pit no 1 to take your names, money and give you a form to fill in. Please bring a helmet with if you have one.
