2006 Polo Classic suspension issues

Post by Julianrj19 »

Hi all.

I had 15” Alpina reps fitted on my 2006 Polo Classic 1.6 in 2020.

Last year I experienced a lot of hassles with the bearings and CV joints (inner and outer).

I want to put the rims on a 2011 Polo Vivo Sedan 1.4 now, but I can’t help but wonder if the rims aren’t too heavy for the car.

Looking forward to your comments.

Maybe the suspension was about to go on the polo classic this are wear items after all. Some 2011 vivo sedan does come with 185/60R15
6Jx15 straight from factory right? You can verify this by checking the car manual or the inside of the driver door there should be a sticker with tire information and pressures. Just turn the steering wheel all the right and left after installing the 15"s to check for clearance. And then do wheel balancing

With smaller tire the car is nimble at takeoff and has better fuel saving.
