8v question

Post by Louis-debrabandere »

Hi guys, I just got my Mk1 caddy with a 1.6 carb motor

My plan is to build a 8v turbo motor but don’t want to make big power I just want a fun toy!

I just wanted to see if anyone can help me with what pistons I could use to drop the compression but don’t want fridged parts

Thanks!

Take the budget you think you need for this project, then quadruple the amount.

As the saying goes, don't build what you can buy
The 20vT motors are high in availability and there are many conversions that have already paved the way to avoid costly R&D
