Good day Gents and Ladies
Trust you are all well.
I have hit a brick wall trying to fix my velo
The car refuses to start and i am running out of solutions to remedy the problem.
1. The car cranks but doesn't start
2. The car has : Spark, fuel, compression (new leads, plugs, distributor cap & rotor) (fuel coming in and out of filter)
3. The fuel rail hasn't collapsed
4. The Injectors have pulse
5. I have checked all the fuses and all are fine
6. Car doesn't have an immobiliser.
I have managed to start the car and get it to revv up by chocking the throttle body constantly but hit a flat spot after 5000RPM where it starts dying off again and hear a loud air noise , when i take out the map sensor plug the car idles after revving it up a few times but doesn't last long, the car revv's up easier without the map sensor plugged on however even with a new map sensor the car still doesn't start on its own.
ANY help will be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Re: VELOCITI ISSUES
Did you do a VAG scan for any errors.....a faulty water temp sensor can cause this, will cause the car to overfuel and wet the plugs and wont start
