Engine modified cant turn

Hello guys Im a new guy and call me BK.

Ive been brought by touble with my vw cabrio 2.0 l which i swapped engines to 2E engine. I did not change the computer box and the loom. realised that the 2E engine does not have the cranck sensor plugin. The engine does not run at the moment but just crancks and not to start.

Please help.

Hi BK. if the old engine had a crank position sensor and you are using an ecu that is looking for that input and its not getting it from the 2e, it will never start.
