2013 VW Scirocco R

Post by JJSwanepoel »

Hello,

I recently bought a Scirocco R and I was wondering if anyone can help me with price estimates?
I need to replace the following:
L/R front tie rods ends
L/R front control arm bushes
Parking brake not very good.
Gearbox has Oil leak

Does anyone here know an estimate or have experience with such a car?

Thanks
JJ

Control arm bushes will have to be OEM, they last longer. Thanx

Thanks. I am new to this semi performance car thing.
Where do you buy OEM bushes?
Also is this a common problem with these models or what causes it to break?

I guess this is the new world where we can call K04 cars "semi performance" hey.

the suspension job any decent mechanic or supaquick a-like can do. I suggest investigating your box oil leak by someone who is a VAG specialist.

Where do you buy OEM bushes? Agents and should not be that expensive
Also is this a common problem with these models or what causes it to break? Not a common problem and for 2013 model, I believe the previous owner is to be blamed.
