Mk1 body panels
Hi, I would like to know if body panels such as a bonnet from a 1998 mk1 will fit on a 2005 model. I know new spec works on old spec but I'm not sure if it works the other way around. Thank you in advance.

Re: Mk1 body panels
1998 CitiGolf bonnet should be fine on a 2005 CitiGolf.

Re: Mk1 body panels
Hi Klaus, As far as I am aware, all panels generally fit very well regardless of the model.
I think, but can be mistaken, the only exception is the doors are slightly different on the 2-door models of the golf 1.
I could be incorrect though, this is just what i was told by someone else.
Hope you come right with what you are looking for

There are a few more differences if you want to compare MkI to CitiGolf, the parts may 'fit' but there are differences.BrandonNarainsamy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 8:58 am Hi Klaus, As far as I am aware, all panels generally fit very well regardless of the model.
