Rear View Mirror Ball Joint Detached

Hi Everyone.

Please assist me, my child was playing in the car and managed to detach the review mirror from the ball joint attached to the windscreen.

Please explain to me how can I take it back because i've tried and it seems the ball joint goes in but it doesn't hold.

the car is a 2019 Polo Vivo.

It is a very tight press fit to get it back. It should click into place. If not, your kid owes you a new mirror.

Do you suggest I get to remove the holder of the mirror as well and try to fit it without pressing it against the windscreen?
