Hi guys
Quick question...will any alterations need to be made/is it possible to replace a U-flow head with a X-flow head on a standard 1.6 golf mk 3 motor? Trying to make a plan to accommodate a set of sidedraughts and think this would work better due to the booster problem on the mk3’s
Thanks

Re: Golf mk3 head conversion
The bottom end will accept the head directly. Depending on which head you might have to make some changes to the head. Ie close a oil port slightly and drill out 2 bolt holes.
