Re: Polo subframe
Production of the 9N3 ended somewhere in 2009 when the 6R started.
But the 9N3 front subframe is different to the Vivo as far as I know, the LCA bushes was turned 90 degrees similar to the 6R, so even if it may fit you will have to source new lower control arms.
Why do you want to do that, I am sure you can find a Vivo subframe somewhere... these things are everywhere, there should be one at some scrappy.

But why would you want to do it?
Was the car in an accident?

Re: Polo subframe
If I’m not mistaken you can but you would need the entire subframe assembly this includes the LCA arms and sway bar. The sway bar mounts directly off the upper aluminum tower section. Then you might have an issue with drop link length.
Not worth it. What is your reasoning for wanting to convert?

Re: Polo subframe
Im looking for a 2009 polo 1.8 gti front subframe. Mine got torn on the left side when i accidentally drove over a pavement. The vehicle still drives its just that im a bit worried that the control arm bolt might snap in the long run. Any idea where i can find one still?
