H7 headlights Golf 7 bulb holders losing contact

Post by aomar296 »

Hi all,

Has anyone successfully managed to convert from Halogen to LED plug and play with no errors on the Golf 7?

Space is quite tight in the engine bay and I'm struggling to find a replacement H7 holder as mine is faulty, so thinking of going LED one time

Thanks

Jabsport is your best bet , for the tight spaces the Philips units work wonders

My H7 bulb holders keep losing contact with the headlight meaning if I apply a little pressure to the bulb holder my lights go on and when i leave it they go off,

What can I do?

Any ideas?

If both sides are not making contact, it sounds like the bulbs are out of spec.
I'd return the bulbs and get another set.
If the mk7 is anything like the mk6, it simpler to just remove the front bumper and take out the light units.

The bulb holders have contact points with the light. The bulb is making contact with the bulb holder. The problem seems to be between the bulb holder and the headlight itself
