2006 Velociti Won't Start

Hey Guys,

Hope all is well...

I drive a 2006 Velociti that just won't start. I've checked the battery out and the start was tested. The car was driving fine and starting normally but yesterday aftermoon it refused to start.

When I try starting then it's like it wants to take but does not, just as I am about to remove the key the alarm goes off. Please help!!!

is there a key symbol flashing on the cluster?.
Have you checked for the basics - is there spark - is the fuel. Is there compression.
