simple single 52 mm gauge pod. Where in the east rand?

Post by panic-mechanic »

Ok so my time to ask for something. I need to install a oil pressure gauge for a client in a golf 5.
I am looking for a simple flat mount gauge pod and really don't want to drive to autostyle for that. Anybody have a clue where I can find something like that.
Tried Mr turbo and the flea market in boksburg but came up blank. First time ever I actually wished i had a 3d printer.

As discussed I do make the vent pods for a neat gauge setup. Here is the G5 vent pod with a boost gauge fitted.

I can make the pod and have it couriered to you @panic (you are welcome to buy through Performance Products SA, I think they might have stock of the G5 pod)

Hey guys, just reading through the posts. I see panic somehow found a turbo vent gauge. Does that gauge come with the unit or is that just a bracket and the gauge must be bought still?? Hubbly I read that you make the vent as well if I read wrong. What’s your prices on a mkv Gti?

Vent pod R400
Shipping R100 if required.

You do need to get a gauge still, gauges range from R200 to R2000. I recommend Prosport from Performance Products SA.

I had a look at pictures of the Mk5 vent and compared them to the Mk4. They appear pretty similar from what I can see. Can the pod be used in a Mk4?
