Lucky find ROX

Post by 175SBU »

Just got a lucky find a few weeks ago of a 1.6 Rox.
The interior is sweet and clean, the body is also clean but needs a front bumper and driver side fender fix, I’m thinking im gonna replace the fender rather than getting it filled with a lot body filler.

So i got down to fix a few things slowly slowly, I replaced clutch kit

Will install something JVC with Bluetooth, i wanted to go with a DIN that has GPS and Bluetooth but the funds are low.

Will also replace the fuel pump and relay, clean the earths.

It is a project in progress.

Maybe one day she will look like the Black Diamond

Very nice. Its getting harder and harder to find Rox's that have neat interiors.

Thanks guys, I just want to get the car to a point where i can drive without any worries of what was replaced or not replaced.

I took it for a spin this weekend and realized that when i put foot flat the car hesitates a bit as if it is lacking fuel or it does not advance at all then all of a sudden it takes off.

I’m just thinking it could be the dizzy or fuel pressure, how much bar does the citi push?

I also tried putting it on timing mode but it refused because of a pending faults that need to be cleared before i can put on timing mode, i will take the snapshot of the error and post.

So yesterday after work i drove the car like it was stolen, had a few hesitations on the way but today it appears they are gone, i did not experience any from home to office.

Will see what happens on my way home.

Hesitation is now a thing of the past it seems, car has been driving smooth since, I’m not sure what could have fixed it.
