288 cam on 1.8 head
Hi guys. Not sure if this has been asked before. But I wanted to find out if there is a difference between 288 cam from a 1.6 head and a 1.8 head. As I recently had to replace my cylinder head and the guys at engineering said that the 288 does not fit because of the 1.8 head?

Re: 288 cam on 1.8 head
Lifter buckets need to be clearenced on some heads. Even my 2.0 ADY head had to be clearenced for the 288.
See the edges of the lifter buckets in the attached photo

Re: 288 cam on 1.8 head
Thanks alot!! Also I hit a valve on my previous head and the cam belt was fine not loose or anything. Could it be the tensioner although the tensioner was spinning freely when i took it off? Thanks
