Hi guys,
I have a problem with starting on my 1.4 Polo vivo 2013 model.
This happens usually in the morning, and on standing for a few hours . It swings but doesn't start immediate. After about 2-3 swings
it will start.I don't know if it is the cold start sensor ?? or something else .
Please help .
Thanks
Logan

Re: 1.4 Polo vivo 2013 , Starting Problem
the software mentioned something about the flap in the throttle ( as an error ) . I don't think its opening immediately when I start the vehicle.
It may be the sensor ? Can anyone help ?

it could be the water temp sender reading incorrectly.

Re: 1.4 Polo vivo 2013 , Starting Problem
Hi guys,
I seem to have an issue with my Vivo not starting as well.
I took it in and they ran the diagnostics only to find no faults presenting itself.
They said when they hooked it up they cleared the error logs and then the car started just fine but left it running for half a day and no errors.
3 days later it won't start again, everything cranks up just the engine won't fire even if I push down on the accelerator, nothing.
I called into VW and disconnected the battery for over an hour to reset the ECU but even after I connected it, still didn't do anything.
Any idea what could be the issue?

I have a 2013 Polo Vivo 1.4. I parked it for the lockdown and when I tried to start it 4 days later it won't start, the motor turns and sound as if it is trying to start, but doesn't. Any recommendations as all garages are closed

Borrow a battery charger or get a new battery.PoloLJ15 wrote:I have a 2013 Polo Vivo 1.4. I parked it for the lockdown and when I tried to start it 4 days later it won't start, the motor turns and sound as if it is trying to start, but doesn't. Any recommendations as all garages are closed
