What roof rails fit on 9N hatch?

I am looking for a set of roof rails to fit my Polo 9N hatch. Need them to carry our MTBs

What is available and pricing? Would prefer a set of the OEM roof rails if possible.

Try Thule reseller. They sell the foot for the car in question and sometimes you can find bars for cheap. As good as OEM, which only someone who has sold car will sell. Trawl Gumtree, that's how I found mine for the Mk5

I was going to suggest OEM but they may be difficult to find so Thule is another great suggestion. Make sure you buy the correct ones depending on whether your 9n Polo is a Sportline or not.

Mine is a 4 door model. Tried buying OEM but not available anymore.

Saw a couple for sale on Gumtree and trying to get a set in good condition. If that fails I will go with Thule.

The OEM 4 door ones have locating pins on the front and rear legs while the 3 door ones only have on the front but both will fit on a 4 door.

Thule has same pins as well. I bought the foot pack from them and bar from someone wanting to get rid of a roof rack for a Fiesta (cheaper than bar only from Thule)

So I managed to find a set of used OEM roof rails in Durban and they are on their way to me by courier. I also managed to find a barely used OEM bike rack in Kempton Park so I guess I am sorted now.

Cool. I had the full OEM roof rack setup with a single bike carrier, it was bloody useful!

Here is a pic of the OEM roof rails fitted.

I picked up the bike rack today but didn't have a chance to fit as yet. It is the OEM rack part no. 6Q0071128A
