Jetta V5 fuel regulator

Good day gents.

My first VW and also my reason for joining the forum. I purchased a used 2000 model Jetta V5 and so far its been good. However she started using a bit more fuel than what i normally use. Anyway, changed plugs this morning and while having a look around the engine bay, i noticed a thin plastic pipe running off of a T piece and the T piece is connected to the fuel pressure regulator. I checked and the plastic pipe is disconnected at the rear. Its sitting just under the throttle body. Problem is i cant see where is should plug into.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Lodewyk. I managed to find the other piece of the pipe. Its a very hard plastic pipe and it attaches to the rear or just behind the throttle body. It was melted in into two pieces. Im not sure what its purpose is though. Can anybody give me some tips on that?

I dont know if this is the exact engine for ur car, but u can browse around there. This is 1 of the only free manual sites.
