Hey guys, so I'm hoping someone could shed some light on the issue with my suspension. Back in December, I noticed the car making clunking noises going over bumps, so after inspection, I found the Upper strut mounts to be worn. I decided to redo the entire suspension> Shocks, tie rods, end links, ball joints as well as the front lower control arms (they proved to be worth replacing, they were in bad shape).
These changes helped significantly, however....
There is still a noise coming from the front and rear when going over smaller bumps and dips on the road surface. The rear sounds like a knock while the front sounds like something is loose and actually sounds like something knocking against another surface a 2 or 3 times rapidly.
I've had the car in the air and checked every suspension bolt and nut and all are torqued to spec. I am completely confused as to what could be loose and making these noises.
A part of me suspects that the rear lower control arm bushes could be shot, at the front... I have no clue.
Any ideas guys? Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Re: Annoying Suspension clunk
I would agree that all bushes get thoroughly checked as they cause most noises.
As for the front, have you checked things like gearbox and engine mounts? Also anything else in the engine bay that may have worked/rattled lose..
Also dont forget exhaust mounts/heat shields.
Hope you find it!

Re: Annoying Suspension clunk
Thanks the theunis! I will give those a look see. I honestly didn't consider those components (foolishness on my part). I was just so focused on the suspension side of it.
I'll keep everyone posted on my findings

Re: Annoying Suspension clunk
Had the exact same problem at the back. Turned out it was the exhaust hitting the body. Some minor correcting of shady repairs and all was well.
As for the front check that the radiator isn't loose. Or hanging.
