fuel gauge

Hi guys i am having a problem with my fuel gauge on my citi 1.4i i have replaced my BCM ,tank sender unit, tested with an other cluste tested continuity on wires , fuel does not seem to work. any ideas please...

How's it. Check the soldering at the base of the needle. This sometimes breaks and it is a very tricky thing to fix because the two different metals don't like being joined together.

Hi, are u talking about the needle on the cluster. i have checked by puting an other cluster, still doesnt work, isnt there maybe an other electrical problem that i am missing?

If you unplug the plug on the tank and you short the two wires, does the gauge go to full scale? If it does, it neabs your wiring is fine.

Check the spade lugs inside the plastic plug as they sometimes get corroded. Some models gas another plug joint inside the car around the centre foot well area infront of the rear seats.
