MK3 power performance.
Hey guys, I need some advice. Is it worth it to put a turbo on my mk3 golf 1.6 vs or should I rather opt for an engine swap to a 2.0 8v engine?

The amount of money you will spend on turboing that 1.6 succesfully and properly will be way more than a motor swop to a 2.0 8V or even a 2.0 16V will be.

Buy a complete 1.8 20vt and drop it in there. I did that years ago and was an awesome little fun car after.
Oh and you MUST upgrade the brakes if you do that.
