Hi guys
So my Polo 6R battery seems to be on its way out.
Where would be the best place to get a battery at a reasonable price?
I prefer a Willard battery as I never had issues with it in my previous vehicles and I am based in Sunninghill but can drive anywhere close for a good deal.
Midas quoted me 1100 for a 646 and 1300 for a 652.
I hope a 652 will fit
Thanks in advance

Why don’t you look at Varta. More expensive but much better then a Willard. Lasts longer.

It's probably overkill. The car is standard, no sound, no hid.
Do you know the price of a Varta 646 and 652?

if he's looking for cheap then Varta wont be... I just put one in the E30 lat week, it was a tad bit more expensive than some other brands that i had checked but definitely worth it as the Varta battery generally last longer than the Sabat, Exide.ect...chibadd wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 12:11 am Why don’t you look at Varta. Agree Varta is a much better battery and you should get decent life out of it, it is slightly more expense but not by much.
Willard = 2/3 years
Varta = 5/6 years
Willard = 2/3 years
Varta = 5/6 years

Re: Where to buy Willard battery - Sunninghill Jhb
I got 4 years off my Varta 680 E11 battery and that is due to the fact the on its 4 year or longer the main line from Alternator to battery had issues due to aging and thus not charging sufficiently.
Oh and the car has extra needs of battery power.
Due to budget i could get another one and rather got a Sabat unit.
