7.5 GTi - Performance Pack in SA?

Currently considering a 7.5 GTi. After some research, I've found that the cars sold in Europe and the UK arrive with a 7spd DSG 'box in Performance Pack-spec. Non-Performance Pack SA-spec cars are only offered with a presumably older 6spd 'box. More reading suggests that the 7spd is quite a lot better.

I've not been able to get a solid answer from a dealer about whether the 7.5 Performance Pack will make it to SA anytime soon. My question to everyone here: is the Performance Pack for the 7.5 ever going to debut in SA? If so, any idea when? Another if so, is the 7spd that much better that it's worth waiting for?

I am sure it will, the Mk7 PP sold well and the Mk7.5 R has the new 7 speed DSG gearbox.

Managed to answer my own question after getting hold of the PR people at VWSA. There are absolutely no plans to bring the Performance Pack version of the 7.5 GTi to SA - the current standard GTi will remain until the Golf 8 arrives in a few years.

I spoke to a friend who works at VWSA last night, he suggested that instead of the Mk7.5 GTi PP being brought here, VWSA are looking at the recently debuted GTi TCR being introduced to SA.
