Hi guys. I want to be able to do a throttle adaptation and set the timing on my 2005 citi 1.4i. My citi idles a bit high now that I have cleaned the throttle body and fitted a new cambelt. Will this cable and software work or what exactly do I need? I'm new to VW and pretty much clueless about VAG COM. Please advise.

Re: Vag com for citi golf?
It's a fong kong cable with cracked(stolen) software but it will possibly work.

Re: Vag com for citi golf?
Thanks Stephan. I was wondering why it's so cheap.
The car is revving at 1800 rpm on cold start and about 950rpm when warm. Cold start rpm is definitely higher after I cleaned the throttle body and fitted the new belt.
The car always idled at 950rpm when warm but it seems to take much longer to settle down once stationary at traffic light.

Re: Vag com for citi golf?
Remember if you have it open and your machine is connected to the intnet it will try to update the software and stop working.....
