ABF intake colour change
Hi guys, can anyone advise me what is the correct way going about putting some colour on a ABF intake, should it be sprayed or powder coated, thanks in advance
Current:
2011 Black 6R Polo Gti (Forge intake, Viper dp, Stage 2 DNA sw)
Ex:
2007 Polo gti (Giac software, 76mm dp, ITG Induction, custom FMIC)
2009 Citi 1.4i sport
1997 Uno turbo ( w/m, Tdo4 turbo, intercooler,76mm exhaust
Bmw 540i e34 (Standard)
Nissan 3.0 v6 (Brospeed branches and exhaust)
2009 Polo gti (Giac software)
Suzuki gsxr1000 k5 (Everything)
Vw caddy club (Mp9 conver, Branches, exhaust, chip)

I doubt there is a "correct" way...
Since powder coating is "thick", it might just retain a little heat..
I guess it depends on what suits ur pockets, i believe powder coating is quite costly but looks awesome.
I would just diy spray paint it to however i like it though.

Get the grease and grime properly removed and cleaned off before DIY painting. Use a primer and colour that can take some heat.
