Best brand of lifter to buy for a 1.8L mk1.

Post by Davin_L »

Hello, I have a 1989 mk1 golf and I would like to know what is the best brand of lifters to buy? I have heard some people buy new ones and after few km they start tapping again. Which ones do you recommend?

If you got noisy lifters have your oil pressure checked.

+11111111111111 x infinity for the INA ones. Call Goldwagen for them.

To my knowledge, INA are actually OE suppliers.
You might even give VW a call. I have this faint notion somewhere in my distant memory that they actually had a better price on lifters than Goldwagen.
