vw microbus

I have seen that the VW Micro busses came out in 1.8, 2.3, 2.5, 2.6 engine size.
Please put my mind at rest and let me know which was the best engine size to buy, yes it sounds strange but I want to buy a VW Microbus, with a body wrapped around the engine.
I want to buy the earlier microbus with the engine in the back and a flat front.
I would prefer the injected version.

2.6. They were actually all injected except the 1.8
The 2.5 was K-jetronic and the later ones the 2.6 and 2.3 was electronic fuel injection.
Those busses was called t3 then people know which shape you are talking about
