My nightmare called electric windows

Post by Kid_Rocc »

Hi guys

Need some serious help

I have posted earlier this year about my electric window issues on my VW Polo 9n3 tdi 96kw.

So from the last time I’ve changed the switch on the door. Which worked perfectly fine till it rained and it stopped working, I then had a spook in my door which after around 15mins all windows work. I then changed the module on the door and worked perfectly fine throughout the year, till last months heavy rain in jhb that caused it to stop working. I now, only have my drivers window working and no passenger.

Does the module need to be changed?
Does the wiring loom neeed to be changed?
Does the switch need to be changed?

I was gonna try petrol and matches

Please help!!!

Passenger doesn’t go up nor down. Drivers auto up remains disabled for 5mins then auto works

I’ve also suspected that but but all wires are insulated.

Module I bought was from a polo vivo gt though

check the connectors at the doors. They corrode there.

Hi guys update on the windows.

It’s March 2018 and my windows still don’t work

I’ve changed both door modules, both switches and still not luck

We’ve found that if you unplug the module for 5mins and plug it back on, you have it working from passenger side for 10-15min then off. However in that time period, the main switch from drivers side doesn’t work.

Drivers window work constant

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP!!!

Otherwise we shall see the first 96kw with winders

Thanks in advance
