Total panel rebuild.

Post by Sean Trollope »

So back at it again with fixing things. This time it's the door panels.
When I got the car they were not lekker. So I got off my but and today I pulled them out and started. Man were they shot. I'll Send some pics of the condition of the wood tomorrow. Also got me some nice 5.25 in speakers while I am about it. The 4 in speakers that were on it (some chop made a total mess of it all and stuffed the panels in the process) were not working properly. Turns out that the only one salvageable is one that wasn't even plugged in.

Here are a few shots before I started taking it all apart. Imagealso notice how this area is wobbily and pulled away from the door. And the material was coming off at the bottom.
