Velocity 1.6i cam

Post by Reptar »

Hi guys. I'm having a bit of a problem. I have converted my 1987 csl carburetor to MP9 fuel injection but the cams that I have catches on the head. Any ideas on which cam I can use. I have a G-cam and a 276 but both of them catches on the head. The head that i have is from a Velocity 1.6i

Use a grinder and shave the head a bit and allow for clearance..just block all shaving from falling inside the head

The lobes are too long. They are pushing against the head before they reach the lifters

Is there no other way except grinding the head?
