On this cold morning my driver side window mechanism decided to break or well something inside broke resulting in the window being loose

Re: Polo vivo 2door window mechanism
Don't think so, as the doors are different sizes (and I assume the glass is as well) But that is just speculation...... also depends on what exactly broke.

Re: Polo vivo 2door window mechanism
The window mechanism cannot be repaired, you have to buy a new one. Mine broke something rather small and useless tried to glue it back on but it wouldn't work at all after that. Had to buy one from a scrap yard of a 9N its exactly the same. Got it for R250 dealership wanted R3.5k. Its very easy to install on your own.
3 door version doors are a bit longer than 5 door as per VW. When I was looking I had to be specific.

If you are interested in something, No matter what it is
Go at it full speed
Embrace it with both arms
Hug it
Love it
Above all become passionate about it
