Came across these LED bulbs 14000LM, H7. Will I be able to fit them to my 2017 Polo 1.2 TSI without encountering any issues...?

Might be wrong but what I have noticed with this LED bulbs is that they don't illuminate the road well enough at night

Must admit they do make the car look cool and the fact that you don't have to wait for them to warm up its another plus

Had one fitted on my wife's car but went back to HIDs due to light quality at night

Ok, thanx for the input. Was the change to HID easy and without any issues?

Hi I fitted the canbus H7 HIDs - no issues. Remember your normal HIDs will throw error codes and worse flicker (which can be a nightmare). Make sure you get canbus bulbs (be it LED or HIDs)

Yeah our philips auto range while pricey has had no failures in 2 years i think and comes with a long warranty, no errors as a few was fitted as fogs.

On headlights the reflector is a big factor some can work with the intense light others have a strong beam and no dispersal

Would such changes have any affect on the vehicles warranty as it’s only 4 months old..?

True that - I guess your car came with halogens stock.

Maybe just fit e.g. Phillips Diamond vision, crystal etc or Osram Laser for now.

The thing with HIDs is that reflectors play a big part - I see everyday cars fitted with HIDs and the light scattered all over and blinding oncoming cars. Find that very upsetting - at times wish I can give someone a big slap

ThanxImageImage...ja stock. Would not have minded for a set of LED lights but that would just have added more on top of the purchase price......

Know that feeling of wanting to issue a few slaps...happens daily.

Thank you all for the assistance, replies and info thus far...appreciate it.

WRT my new Polo;
Are there any issues about washing the engine?
Is it advisable to use a high pressure washer?

Dont point near any wires and try and cover with a plactics bag , make sure you use a good degreaser and dry it properly .

If your car is not in shows its not worth it....

Also the engine must not be hot.

This is what the bottom part of the dash looks like on the passenger side of my Polo TSI.

Can anyone tell me if this is the way it is or is there perhaps a cover missing....?
