Hi guys, i'm currently looking for a new daily and considering the TSI Comfortline or Highline. I have driven the Comfortline and yet to drive the Highline when I get a chance. I would just like to know if the performance on the highline is really worth the extra money.

Hi Vee

I suggest you drive both the manual and DSG Highline models. The performance between the CL and HL is not as negligible as I first thought, both stock of course.

Thanks for the replies guys. I thought the comfortline was a bit sluggish but maybe coz I'm used to my tdi, but other than that it seems like a nice daily. I will try the highline dsg as suggested. Just one more thing, do these cars get over the 850km mark on a tank as I currently do on my tdi?

Hi Vee
I got the comfortline.. believe it or not with a tank I got about 900km but it all depends on how you drive.. last I filled up the dash said I can get 570km but it goes up and down.....
I once drove to Jhb from dbn and and back to dbn with 1 tank

Don't you have to focus the light a bit lower or laminex the headlight?

Hi Guys,

So wondering a bit here, seeing as the 1.2TSI's are sitting with charge coolers and not the normal intercoolers what's the options when looking at upgrading the cooling on the car? (not a big fan of charge coolers)

Either get someone to build an fmic for the car, or get a water meth injection system installed.

I have WMI and I'm loving it, does the job really well

Running RK Motion Stage 2. Haven't dyno'd stage 2 yet.

But with stage 1 file and dp, full exhaust and intake I was doing 88.2wkw

do you have the 81kw Highline or the 66kw Comfort/trend?

still, good figures for a 1.2!
