Empty NF Ultra aluminium bottle will also work well, I've got about 30 of them laying around...
Is it hard aluminium or normal drinking can alumium?
It's quite hard, you have to give it a hard knock to put a dent in it...
Brilliant Idea!

@Irfaan - Did you put in any other stuff inside the bottle?

DIY Details, I'm not putting an entire write up. It should be easy to see from the pics

Materials Needed:

1 X Hard Aluminium bottle ( NF ULTRA, Twist Top Drinking Water Bottle or Similar)

Image

2 X Pot Scourers, this will be pushed down to the bottom of the bottle

Image

2 X L Shaped irrigation Elbows (10mm cavity)found at any Hardware

Image

2 X L Shaped irrigation elbows (5mm Cavity)

- The smaller elbow connects directly into the bigger one. Basically the big elbow will be outside the can facing up, while the small one will be inside facing down towards the bottom of the can

Image

1 X Mini Air Filter (Breather)

Image

1 X 12mm PVC pipe (This will fit inside the fiter and will need to be wedged inside the top of the bottle)

3 X Rubber seals, or Pratley. The rubber seals I used I got off an old Aircon compressor. I seen similar ones at the Hardware

Image

Drill some holes, Give it a lick of paint

Put everything together

Voila

Done. Sorry for not being so informative. But its easy and the pics will be self explanatory.

Was a fun exercise. And a really cheap idea, that works.

Thanks

Get the Works Engineering catch can. Very good quality and fairly priced in my opinion. If you want the contact details of the guy who sells their products in SA, drop me a PM.

Seems like your pm function is disabled.

Please pm me the numbers , thanks man
Sorry man. I suck. Clean forgot I disabled PMs. E-mail address is works.engineeringsa@gmail.com

Very nice helpful guy.

Clicked on it by accident and too lazy to go back into the user control panel to set it right.

Hi. Sorry for hijacking your post. I have a question. How often do you need the check the bottle or better yet clean it out?
