Time to worry? - Funny stuff happening to my oil

Hey guys,

I noticed this weekend when I was checking my oil via the dipstick that there was water droplets on the dipstick and the oil at the bottom and all along the side of the dipstick was creamy in colour. Now I panicked 'cos that usually means HEAD GASKET is blown - right? But after the lekker weather we had this weekend in Cape Town (hot), I checked this morning and the dipstick was normal except for a small little "cream" at the bottom AND there was no more droplets on the dipstick.????
Now I am confused. Is there water getting inthere somehow or is it the HEAD GASKET :( :(

thanks

Has it been cold recently???

What might be happening is that you are getting condensation in you oil breathers - I used to get in in a Peugeot 205Gti in England. It is very little water vapour and burns (evaporates) away.

Watch you water consumption, if none is dissapearing then it is not your head gasket.

Cheers

Alex

Thanx for replying man.
I did have water consumtion but that's because my radiator was leaking BAD. Fixed that and it used VERY little water now.
How can I fix this problem?
