No probs gents,

This helped me out a lot. If the guys at vw are battling to get a part, I take the time and look for the part number myself. So far haven't failed me.

For inter-comparison of parts, alternative numbers, etc., I often use:
infopart.org (no http etc.)

Bosch also has a very handy online parts catalogue:
http://www.bosch-automotive-catalog.com/en/

As do two suppliers of Goldwagen, Hans Pries (Topran) and FeBi:
https://www.pries.de/shop.asp?LANG=2
http://www.febi-parts.com/?lang=GB or http://cars.febi-parts.com/vehicle.php?lang=GB

Hello There

I have never owned a 6R Polo Sedan so I am not sure about the detail of the car, if you know what I mean... However, if I go according to etka, I get the following part number below:
* 6RU810972 (Right rear Fender Liner)

Please make 100% sure by either typing your pin in etka.me or etka.cc. If you cannot get a hit with your VIN, go to your local VW dealer and give them your VIN and see if the part number I gave you, will indeed be a match for your VIN.

If you have a broken plastic part, depending on the size like the fender liner... Check around the liner and you will most probably find the part number stamped somewhere with a VW logo. This is the easiest to get the part number you need. You can give the VW guys at spare parts this number and they will be able to also tell you if the number has been superseded by a new part number.

I hope this helps :hi: :hi: :hi:
