No, shocks, unless the lower mounting position of the spring changes, do not determine ride height...

Unless the shock is physically shorter in length like Gabriel Shortened Gas Rider? Right

I presume that shortened shocks will have different mounting positions for the spring?

Anyone here still on this topic? I've got this problem fitted new shocks all around to my Chico 1.3 but the rear is extremely high part number on Monroe shocks match and everything what could be causing the rear to be so high

If the shock supplied is correct.... . Then Then spring rest plate that fits on the shock, might be the wrong way around.

This plate is usually not supplied with a new shock and is taken of the old shock
