Re: PCD change
@kibim
The centre bore of the hub is 57.1mm (std) and so is the S3 rim.
the adapters will be made up according to those sizes.
If i understand correctly, spigots wont be needed?

Re: PCD change
Hey Guys
Very old thread revival.
I want to fit a Jetta VR6 5 stud rim to a MK1 golf which is 4 stud.
Can you advise if adapters or drilling the hubs are the way to go?
Any recommendations on where I can source some adapters in the Gauteng area?

Any idea what thickness adapters I need to ensure no touching of the tire and fender?

Re: PCD change
MkI PCD is 4x100 and MKIII VR6 PCD is 5x100 so you can redrill the hubs without too much issue, I had this done on my ex Caddy to run MkIII Golf VR6 wheels.MK_1 wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 11:21 pm Hey Guys

Re: PCD change
Thanks for the advise guys.
Got a quote of R2950 for the adapters.
Will try and find a place for drilling, if the price is anywhere close to the adapters I might as well just go the adapter route.

Re: PCD change
You'll probably pay a third for drilling...
A year or two ago those adaptors went for under R2k IIRC.

Re: PCD change
If you are close to Florida on the West Rand you can try
GULF Auto spares in Goldman str.
They do [did do] drilling of the hubs
