Anybody with VCDS in cape town area? I really need to get my car scanned ASAP. Missing on low revs. Touareg R5. Have seen bad things with the r5's having a missfire at low and high revs.

Morning Everyone

Is there anyone in the Pta (Centurion & surrounding) area that can assist me with activating cruise control via VCDS for my Polo 9N3? I have the steps involved.

I will unfortunately only be available this Friday or Saturday at home as I work away from home and only come home every second week.

I would appreciate any feedback and assistance.

Hi Guys,

Im in need of assistance. My car was driving perfect until i noticed a miss on the car only when i stop. As soon as i stop the revs will drop then suddenly idle normal again. I change the sparkplugs and plug cords but it still did that miss when i came to a stop. A friend of mine took off the air duct and cleaned the throttle body with a rag and the car was perfect after that. He told me to buy throttle body cleaner and clean it out properly. Last week i bought the throttle body cleaner at Midas and cleaned it while it was on the car. After cleaning it i started the car and it idle for a while with the air duct off. I dont know why but i closed the throttle body with my hand while it idled and the engine stalled. After doing that I started the car and the revs went crazy upto 2000rpm, jumping up and down. Ive been driving like that for a week now hoping it will come right but no luck. I tried taking the negative battery terminal off but no luck. Please can anybody help me with this????? I'm in Cape Town. The car is a Polo Playa 1.8i 1999 model.

I am based in the Pretoria West/Centurion area if anyone needs VCDS. All I know how to do for now is scanning and running logs. But if you know what you're doing with coding you're welcome to use it. 0828937166

Hi Guys,

Is there anyone in Cape Town, Southern Suburbs that can help me out.

I need my Polo 1.6 (bah) fault scanned. I'm trying to avoid just buying parts that are not faulty. It basically does the same thing as the post above ^.
