i require assistance from somebody in DBN who is quite competent with reprogramming via VCDS.
I need to change from adaptive cruise control (ACC) to just normal cruise control (CSS) on a 2005 A6. From a little bit of research, it seems like a few settings need to be changed.
The radar sensor is messed up, but I can live with normal CCS.
Hi All
I have a Autel Maxscan VAG405 code reader. My cable is faulty on the DB 15 side. I would like to replace the plug, however I cannot find a decent (accurate) schematic of the DB15 Pinouts and description - Could anyonne help with this. Maybe someone with a similar unit could ping the cable out and let me know the result.
Thanks in advance
Anyone willing to do a full scan for me in the emmerentia, linden, franklin roosevelt park area jhb? Willing to pay extra for someone to come out to me. My little obd2 reader isn't as effective.
Hi there sorry if I post this in incorrect section . I need advise on wich scan tool will work on my 2001 golf 4 gti 1.8t . I have tried Creamery 619 Autophix c123 Elm 207 . Wil the xtool vag401 work or wich tool will work the best .please what are you guys using. I have a problem with my cars rpm when driving. When you drive and change gears when the clutch is pressed in the rpm does not drop it hangs just there until you leave the clutch again .
Anyone in the Roodepoort area who can do a VAG COM scan on a Jetta Mk 3 CLi - OBDII. I am having problems with the aircon and I don’t know if it is ECU related.
Any suggestions welcome. Just need a point in the right direction. Things like where to start, what are the most important things to prioritize etc. Hence the diagnostics request. excuse the double post.
Hi guys, is there anyone in KZN available to help me out with battery coding and start stop deactivation on my 2014 Golf 7 1.4 TSi?
VW wants R5600 for an OEM battery (which is just a sealed flooded battery or enhanced flooded cell at best) and another R1100 for fitment and coding. I would prefer a Varta AGM 646 battery for R3000 but the dealership says that they only code OEM batteries.
I have been trying to do some reading online and it seems with the right cable and software one can code the car by changing the serial of the battery by 1 digit to let it know that it is new. And additionally set it to fleece (AGM) type?
It's not just the cost of the VW battery that is putting me off but the fact that it isn't even an AGM battery in a vehicle fitted with stop/start.
hi all
I am in JHB east area - Sandringham (next to Edenvale)
I need access to a VCDS cable - i have been using a friends but its not available currently. im planning to rebuild the valve body on my audi 6hp19A gearbox and need to clear the settings and run the adaptions afterwards. the adaptions need to be done at a specific oil temperature range - helps to have the VCDS plugged in while doing it. takes a hour or two to do with specific driving pattern.
I dont want to start this job unless I know I will be able to use the VCDS afterwards. (possible before just to check and clear any fault codes and read clutch pressures).
I there any one in my area who could assist me with this? I have the software loaded - i just need a cable to access . happy to discuss how we do this.
Awe mense. I have a serious problem. My citi golf was at workshop and needed key coding due to immobilizer not recognizing the transponder. So the guys at the workshop ended up taking out my original computer box and inserted their bypass box to start and move the car in and out of the garage. So now, the electrician coded the key and cluster, tested the key and the error was removed but the computer box was not plugged. Cool, then plugged in the bypass box and started the car with no error on dashboard. So after the electrician tested multiple times, it was working just fine. So the workshop guys only realized later that they plugged the wrong box and put in the correct one. Now the immobilizer error is back, so how do I fix this
