1.4 16v polo engine injector size

Guys are the injectors on a 1.4l 16v polo engine same size as in a 1.4l 8v golf mp9 engine.

Perhaps if younexplain the basis of your question you might get a better answer. I doubt they will be identical. But are you asking becuase you want to use those injectors or are you asking thinking you will swop that motor in and run it on mp9. If the latter then no go, they run a 60-2 trigger so mp9 can't

I want to find out if I can run a golf 8V motor with that polo fueling system. I tried looking up the injector flow rates but i came short.

I am planning on putting this on the engine

Geez that sounds like a lot of work to achieve what exactly? Not not simply go aftermarket? Do you have a complete management like that lying around or are you going to go out and buy one. Again perhaps explaining the entire story will give you an answer faster.

Ok, my problem is I wanted an engine upgrade and with regards to engines that came with the Polos options are very limited. Now if you look at its cousins the VWs and Audis there is a lot of variety to choose from.

What I wanted to know specifically is, can the normal Vw 8v engine run on a system that was designed for 1.4 16v? Is the Injector power rating/flow similar or can it be adapted? Regarding 60-2 trigger wheel, some golf engines have one that is built on to the crank isn't it?

I know that the gearbox is not a problem

Ok your signature says you have a mk2. Where does the polo management comeinto play. Please i dom't feel like pulling teeth. Give the car details etc otherwise it might tkae 5 years before we have all the detail. I can give you no answers with what is see currently.
