I'm not that brave to bag a daily
Coilovers will be for sale at the end of the year though after they are inspected/repaired if necessary (nothing wrong with them at the moment) ...

Good Morning gents,

So yesterday I took delivery of my '12 Polo 1.4 comfortline. :hurray:

First impressions: Cannot compare this car to the MK5 and in all honesty I miss that car already!

Nonetheless, I love the white speedo lights and sleek look of the front end & I immediately noticed how incredibly light on fuel this vehice is.

Otherwise quite satisfied with the purchase, will just have to get used to the space & feel of the car as the MK5 was truly an amazing car to own.

Will take some pics over the weekend.

Just one question:
Does any of you experience vibrations while doing speeds above 120km/h?
I have picked up a slight vibration yesterday but I cannot feel it on the steering.

congrats man...you will learn to love it lol...i love my little 6R.

Yeah with me coming from a mk5, the first thing I missed with the space and the size of the dashboard. BUT things like the new car smell, bluetooth radio, fuel consumption, the dials, the pano-roof and other additions took away the heartache of misising the mk5. haha :hurray:

The handbrake switch might be faulty and not pick up the lever being fully down

Ja I get that the handbrake could cause the light, but the beeping? I know on my jetta i've had the light and beeping before. Once was brake fluid and the other time it was rear pads. Not sure if the polo is different.

Zane did you find the problem yet?

The beeping is also part of the handbrake problem.. its a safety feature if the vehicle is driving and the handbrake is up it will beep

Mornings gents, yeah the beeping, could be either handbrake, brake fluid or rear brakes.

Took the car back and it was the switch on the handbrake, sorted  . She had one of her colleagues "test drive" the car and when she got back in the light was on.

Also had the wheels re-balanced and the alignment checked, took her for a nice drive and I was

Very happy with fuel consumption and overall drive and feel of the car around town and on the highway.

Don't miss the MK5 anymore. :fear:

Snapped some pics yesterday
Have some "minor changes" I want to make. Wife will also be driving the car a lot more now.

All in all very happy with the car!
