Catalytic Converter - Polo 9n 1.6

Post by bones »

A friend of mine has a Polo 1.6. Apparently VW says her catalytic converter is lose and they will have to replace it at a cost of R9000

Any advise or tips on what she can do? Can she remove it?

Normal 1.6 9N ?

Sny die stuk stront uit en sit 'n nuwe stuk pyp in ... Nothing else required.

I wouldn't keep ip it's poisonous. There is only one lamda on the 9n and that's before the Cat. Removed it on both my Polo and Seat on +- 200km sold the one on 15000 and the other at 21000km never a days issues.
