2 L 8VALVE AGG ENGINE TURBO CHARGED

Hi there
My Caddy bakkie are now nearly finnish and pics will come in soon .Ive got one problem .The turbo are very close to the steering collum rubber .What plan can i do to keep the heat away .Will the turbo blanket be enough .

That's the problem with 8v T. My firend also has one. Even the gear linkages are close.

get a heatshield from any car and put it over. the metal ones. also some guys use like a dynamat extreme, its heat resistant to a certain temp.

U get a nice aluminium tape that u put on the thinks that you want to protect. It reflects a lot of heat. Then u go on ebay and buy vulcan titanium wrap. Its made of crushed vulcano rocks weaved into a titanium mesh. Wrap all the hot ISH with that a buy a vulcan turbo blanket. Not much more u can do.

easy way out... get a 8v x-flow head as per PIC
