Finally managed to save up and get my 6r gti in december and I LOVE IT   is an aftermarket air intake worth it?
I also want to get a dp for some beautiful dsg farts  recommendations?
Nice Ride man,

i would do a dp first, worth every penny. Intake you might have to do software at the same time as your check engine light might come on after installing.

hi guys
please advise....polo gti 1.8 cooling water system problem
just did engine overhaul now the coolant is bubbling in the coolant reservoir,,I checked the compression its fine no blown gasket,,,,I bleed the cooling system and did a coolant flush....replaced the water pump...put in new thermostat but the problem continued and then I took out the thermostat and to my surprise the problem subsided, the fans are kicking in normally and the bubbling in the coolant reservoir has reduced I mean this is on a system with no thermostat the engine heats up normally no fluctuations on the temperature gauge,,,so do I continue to run the car without a thermostat??

second issue on the coolant sensor the two pin sensor on the engine ,,,it shows an intermittent error on obd scan got a new sensor but still the error was showing then I traced the wires and the I found that the sensor is not getting the 5V signal ....im still trying to trace were the wires could have short to ground but I understand this sensor its only for fuel management system it does not have an influence on the first issue I pointed above or please correct me if im wrong?? as my understanding is that the temperature gauge on the cluster is received from the 3 pin temperature sensor next to the radiator ....and on the scan the two pin temperature sensor is always at -48 degrees even though the cluster gauge temp has got to 90 degrees.......kindly please assist me on this issues.

Hi Guys
I'm driving a 2013 Pgti
I recently notice while driving at a constant speed and if I had the need to increase speed the car will act up like has it have a miss.
like a sort of a jerk until I leave the accelerator. if I keep my foot down it will give me
Flashing Check Engine/Engine Malfunction or Electric Power Control... soon as speed drops its gone.

would like to know if anyone experience this...
and what was or could be the cause

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the kind words man!

I got an exhaust done and I absolutely love it, you were right, it was worth every penny.

I see some some guy asked about a 6r gti crew and you sent him a pm.

I am interested and was hoping you could also send a pm my way :)
