Kjet head on Ady

Post by 68_vw_666 »

Hi guys,

Would this work?

The Kjet on my car is still working fine, can I transplant the Kjet head onto the longblock? Would this work?

I've got a K-Jet head on my ADY, running electronic injection.
Current rides:

VW Golf - 83 GT 2.1 16V 2-door with throttles
VW Golf - 78 LS 2.0 8V 4-door (2.1 ABF with throttles in progress)
VW Golf - '08 Citi Storm - 1.4 for now
Hyundai - 1.4 Getz (daily)

Will this be a bolt on mod?? Or are there any specific modifcations that I would have to do?

Would I use the timing for a 1.8 KJET motor or how will it work?

Did anyone here do that conversion? What do I need to swop over?

You will need to mod the Dizzy, take the gear off the ADY dizzy , put it on the k-Jet dizzy, and you will need to get a spacer ring made up. Do a search here , there was a topic about it a few weeks ago.
